I wonder myself what the people taking the presidential debates seriously have in their heads. They talk only about things that are not the roots of the problems. Yet they seem to be convincing enough for most Americans. I would like them to debate about the Occupy Movement and the crimes and high executives have committed. About the how they plan to resolve the corruption in the white house and the corruption in states' local governments.

The sad reality is that both of the candidates are just meat puppets for corporations and it is not of their interest to talk about what's really wrong with the nation.

Foxconn has a worker strike they are the iphone 5 makers

Well, everyone saw this coming! The inhumane demands of Apple make people already working on overdrive to go into over-over drive. There is just so much you can torture workers before they fight back.

Hopefully instead of firing all the strikers, they come to an agreement and treat them more humanely, they complain that they don’t even have the holidays off.

Workers also complain about Apple demanding quality on a product that has design flaws and they without the proper training are expected to fix those problems.

The strike has stopped production all day long, hopefully it stays that way for a long time to teach Apple a lesson.

Who is to blame apple iphone fans or Apple?

I think that us as customers should be more intelligent making decisions to buy a product. Every time you purchase an iphone 5 on launch date you are telling Apple that you don’t care they are making workers work themselves to death. It is our duty to let companies know, that what they are doing is wrong and we don’t support it by not buying their products.

Apple as an American Company should practice the values the USA preaches around the world. Apple should not make businesses with companies exploiting their workers the way Foxconn does, it only shows the little they care about the workers, and that’s not a company you want to buy a product from.

Yep, Nintendo decided to toss the moves on the side and bring back the huge controller. Wii motes are still going to be optional, but Nintendo has focus on the new Tab like controller, IT IS HUGE.  We are still to see how ergonomic this new design is. 

Microsoft Releases Visual Studio 2012 And Opens Access To The Application Store To Mortals.

The time has come for a new Microsoft Visual Studio, it is available for download already. I’ll install it as soon as the Dream Spark Page is fixed (It is Currently Crashed – Traffic perhaps). This new version of Visual Studio has everything you need to start developing the metro apps, which Microsoft comical CEO Steve Ballmer said was going to change the nature of computer applications. According to Microsoft this Metro Application will be easily stored in a USB drive with all your settings and desktop, and are going to work connected with the cloud.

Developers can now have a Microsoft Store Account and upload their apps for the world to download. It is not going to be free, but if you are a student in the United States or qualifying countries, the Dream Spark program will waive you subscription fee.

Once I manage to install Visual Studio 2012 I’ll make another post, I think it wait a while since I’m currently working on some projects and I don’t want any compatibility issues. It happened to me before when I switched from 2008 to 2012 version of VS. So I’ll play it safe and I’ll finish my current projects before doing the upgrade.

Nokia Lumia 920 will be release in the last quarter of 2012

Nokia and Microsoft get the big guns out with a state of the the art smart phone. Enters the Lumia 920 scheduled to hit the shelves in the last quarter of 2012. The Nokia Lumia 920 has some really sweet features as Wireless charging (electromagnetic conductivity) Carl Zeiss video 1080p and photo 8.7 mp lens, Windows 8 mobile, and a nice 720p display, everything packed in a very stylish rectangular round corner enclosure case.

I think the term is a little bit miss used, the phone still needs to come in contact with a charging station, the phone is jut put on top of the matt without any kind of plugs or connectors. This is electromagnetic induction, and it still requires some sort of physical connection, it is not like your phone gets charged around a certain radius or range, however, marketing is marketing. Electromagnetic inductivity is not new, but its implementation in the smart phone as a built-in feature is, so it deserves some thumbs up.

This s very popular type of lens among photo fanatics, and its ability to capture full HD 1080 video is nice. The Lumia 920 also promises  nice pictures given that the phone has a built-in features that reduces the blurriness in pictures caused by shaky hands (not me, I’m steady as a rock - no pun intended… well.. yeah a little) and at 8.7MP resolution. It seems like the Lumia 920 comes with all the perks people want in their smart phones.

Back in the day, they were all about simple games and the duty of the players was to hold high scores in their local arcade place. HTML5 is good news for mobile devices users given that according to Steve Jobs “Flash is a CPU hog” HTML5 is suppose to run more smoothly and is currently supported by all browser. Upgrades to Windows 8 are going to be possible only for Windows 7 users, if you are one of the few tech savvy humans that installed windows 8 candidate release, and you are thinking you will need to input just the product key and download some bug fixing packages, you are mistaken. People with Windows 8 release candidate installed will need to re-install their windows 7 operating system, or if you have Windows 8 as a partition you will still be required to uninstall it.
The upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 should be easy, but until we get some real world testimonies let’s just stay tune. I’ll probably write an article using my own experience as example, keep yourselves posted to this blog.

MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO; IT’S THE WAY TO GO

The time has finally come. A tablet with enough muscle to roar and be heard by a computer guy like me has finally arrived.

The new tablet from Microsoft “Surface Pro” is the only tablet good enough in my opinion to be called a significant computational achievement. I have never been a fan of tablets like the Apple ipad or the Android tablets. To me they seem like huge phones and ipods. Nothing better than what a smart phone can already do. Many will argue that devices such like the ipad and android tablets have make computational marvels such as the Microsoft surface possible, however, I highly disagree with that. First of all I’m talking about the Surface Pro, not the water down version Surface RT, if you want to claim the Surface RT is the same as the ipad, you might have a point. Surface RT has an ARM processor, which in my opinion should not be used for other things other than portable video game consoles, and smart phones. The reason why I don’t like ARM processor in devices such as tablets is because they appear to be functional for checking e-mail and Facebooking (Oh! Come one, you guys know we would start using it as it verb sooner or later..), and tasks along those margins.
However for computer programming, web development, or even image manipulation for which there are many applications, but they don’t come even close to offering all the perks the PC OS version offers.
